Saver Day Pass validity

Don't mix up dotted and dashed lines. Dashed lines are used for tunnels.

If you want to compare validity map with railway network map zoom in Visp Spiez region at maps.trafimage.ch - you can use either the old Lötschberg tunnel or the new, longer base tunnel without additional cost.

Saver Day Pass - Visp to Spiez

I am planning to use Saver Day Pass to take the train from Visp to Spiez. The shortest route is to go north and pass through Frutigen. However, the railway route is showed as red dotted line from Visp to Frutigen. Does this mean the Saver Day Pass is not valid for a free ride?

The dotted line indicates a tunnel. The Saver Day Pass is of course also valid on this line
