A ticket to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium or Slovakia can be returned for reasons on the passenger’s side no later than by 24:00 (midnight) on the day preceding the first day of the ticket’s term of validity with a service charge of EUR 3 per person

overnight trains to foreign destinations operating between the Czech Republic and Germany, Austria, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Ukraine and Switzerland have required reservations, and the price of the reservation (sleeper or couchette) is automatically included in the price of the ticket; day trains in long-distance transport between the Czech Republic and Poland, IC DB Bus connections to Germany, and SC Pendolino and EC Roháče trains to Slovakia have required reservations, and the price of the reservation (seat reservation) is automatically included in the price of the ticket

a ticket to Poland, the Netherlands or Slovenia purchased in the ČD e-shop must always be printed out on the passenger’s own printer (on A4 paper) and the passenger must have it stamped by a ČD conductor or in a ČD ticket office before leaving the Czech Republic. Unstamped tickets are invalid in these countries (except for the Netherlands).
